I am very disappointed in how the caucus was run. The site says from 10 to 12 on March 3rd. With a recommendation to get there 30 minutes early to sign in.
ReplyDeleteIT DID NOT SAY THAT IF YOU ARRIVED AFTER 10 A.M. YOU WOULD BE LOCKED OUT OF THE CAUCUS.
And that is what happened to me and many others.
I arrived at 11:30 and there were eight other people there also wanting to get in to vote. (Two more showed up while we were airing our grievances to one of the caucus people.)
I'm sorry. But I'm 66 years old and have been voting Republic since I was 21. And when I would go to the precinct to vote I would walk in, sign in, and vote.
That is what myself and the other people who showed up after 10 a.m. thought this would be like.
So, please tell the Republic Party they may have lost votes in the general election due to the way they handle their caucuses.
IF THIS IS THE WAY THE REPUBLICANS RUN THEIR CAUCUS, I'M NOT SURE I WANT THEM RUNNING MY COUNTRY.
(And yes I am yelling.)
